Mishawaka Valor Announce First Player Signing in Team History

Mishawaka, IN — The Mishawaka Valor are proud to announce the signing of Jeron Hemphill, marking the first player signing in franchise history and a major milestone for the organization.

Hemphill is a 6’7” forward who most recently competed professionally with the Winston-Salem Wolves of the ECBL. Known for his size, athleticism, and production on both ends of the floor, Hemphill brings a strong presence to the Valor as the team begins its inaugural chapter.

Before turning professional, Hemphill starred at Montreat College, where he established himself as one of the most impactful players in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. During his senior season, Hemphill earned Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors after averaging 20.5 points and 15.5 rebounds per game over a standout stretch of play. His efficiency was equally impressive, as he shot 68.6 percent from the field, tying for third-best in the nation.

“Signing Jeron Hemphill as the first player in Mishawaka Valor history sets the standard for what we are building,” CEO, J.R. Robinson said. “His work ethic, production, and experience make him a foundational piece for our team.”

The Mishawaka Valor welcome Jeron Hemphill to the organization and look forward to his impact on and off the court as the team prepares for its inaugural season.
